Hi guys!
I want to trade news releases on currencies futures contracts, using ninjatrader as software with either Interactive brokers or td ameritrade as broker.
I read many forums advices about the best between the 2, in terms of fees, reliability, etc, but didn't find anything talking seriously about the speed of these brokers to get the orders filled in a quick market spike. And that is what i'm interested in, trading news spikes, taking 5 to 30ticks quickly in 1sec to 2minutes.
The strategy needs ninjatrader as software. So if someone can give me their experience with one of the brokers's behaviour during news releases, that will help me to make my choice. To use the strategy, the broker must really fill me at good prices, quickly, respect my Stop loss, have less slippage, not freeze the platform(wondering if this one can affect me as i'll use another software with their datafeed).
Thanks for your help and point of view!
