TP and SL are they sitting at the broker side

Hello All,

quick technical question, if I have a running trade on MT4 with a TP and SL already set,
if I have my computer closed, and the price reaches one of the two levels, will they be executed or not?
I think that the info it is only sitting on my PC and that the broker does not see them, which means that
either, as a swing trader, I need to have a computer 24 hours on or use one of those virtual solutions,
is this correct?

Don't worry, as long as your device was connected when you set the orders, they are recognised by the broker's systems and they will be executed when the prices you set are reached. Test it out with a tiny order a few pips beyond price, then shut down for an hour.
