The Traits Of A Super Trader Are:
1. Acceptance Of Losses & Losing
2. Confidence
3. Desire - A Driving Desire To Become Successful
4. Devotion - A Substantial Amount Of Their Waking Hours Is Given To Market Analysis & Trading Strategy
5. Discipline
6. Independence
7. Love & Passion For Trading
8. Methodology - To Which They Remained True
9. Patience
10. Resilience - In Overcoming Significant Obstacles To Reach Their Goal
11. Rigid Risk Control
These are the traits that are said to make a person a 'Super-Trader!'
They are not in any particular order of importance but I did collate them into alphabetical order. It now seems the order they are in makes good sense.
As you look at these traits of a 'Super-Trader,' you too could observe yourself against the list and thus work on removing your trading weaknesses (should you have any) in order to turn them into trading strengths.
Does that sound good to you?
Since writing out this list and trading myself, I can see that without 'Super-Trader Trait #1,' my trading account would not last very long due to the previous bad habit of holding onto losses for too long, in the hopes it will some-day and one-day turn around.
Have you ever done that?
What I'll be doing over the course of time is breaking down and discussing all of these 'Super-Trader Traits' in relation to my own personal findings, feelings and experiences as I continue to journey into the world - of being - not just a trader - but a 'Super-Trader!'
