I would like you to inform me what is the best way of become a very attractive candidate for high profile job in Trading FX(qualification-wise) like Investment Banks, etc.

In my mind I have the following plan but I am not sure if it is flawless.

1.MSc in Finance etc. relevant degrees
2.Trader job
3. FSA Regulations Exam Unit 1
4.FSA Securities Exam Unit 2
5.FSA Derivatives Exam Unit 3
6.SII Diploma
7.American Exams for Securities and Derivatives.

Did I miss anything?
What are the American exams called ?

In my mind u should start from somewhere

trading the fib no, mov averages, stdev, or ....

Flawless academic career (you're competing against the global cohort) up to MSc

Internships for one of the majors during summer vacation . Note this is no longer a "tea-boy" role, I know that one intern for equities at a major IB was expected to produce a paper on the term structure of voltility at the end of the summer.

If you get into the graddy program then you'll take all the exams as a matter of routine.

Luck.

Best qualification (IMHO) is not listed and would be:
"Old school tie" and a daddy with connections.

know what I mean old bean? :)

Who wants to work for some stuffy old "stuck up" investment bank?
