I can see why some women wouldn't want their husbands trading though. If they don't understand trading they probably think it is the same as going to the casino (actually, they are probably right and their other half would be better going to the casino in the majority of cases).

In which case, he should do it in secret until he builds up a small fortune, then woo her with diamonds and exotic holidays. I'm sure she would then be very accepting of the idea. Oh, but don't let her erode your capital too much or you'll be out of business. And don't spend so much time looking at her that you forget to look at your charts, you still have a job to do, remember?

Why traders? if its true for traders its true for bin men, post men, milk men, doctors teachers, admin assistants etc.

Being a trader is only a job, a way of paying the bills.

For any man/woman, being in a relationship with someone who they are not suited to being with, could be not very healthy, but at the end of the day, if they recognise this, which they should, they can either fix it by trying to change thingss, or go their seperate ways.

Whether you are a trader or a bin man, in both jobs you can have a bad day at the office. For a trader this will involve losing money most likely. For a binman this might include arguing with the boss, arguing with a resident whose rubbishh they have collected, or having an accident/suffering injury.

The point is, the bin man cannot blame these incidents on their wife/girlfriend. They have to take personal responsibility for their own actions & re-actons. Just like everyone does.

Sure, relationship troubles will probably not help performance in any job.
Just as a really solid & happy relationship would likely be of help in any job performance.
