NYSE $Ticks show at any given time the amount of stocks that upticked vs downticks.
+1000 to -1000
I'm been monitoring it on the S&P500 and its quite good in identifying extremely bullish and bearish markets as well as idenifying areas of reversals ... I can see how it could be very useful from a day-trading perspective, people who view each day as sepparate and 'fresh' to a certain extent.

Anyway. Is their an equivalent for the FTSE100 stocks or 350 or LSE ?
For esignal or tradestation?

Thanks a bunch, what do others think of this indicator?
(P.s. title was to attain attraction, only)

HT,

Don't have a go at me or anything.

I don't know if you know of the book "Mastering the Trade" by John F Carter, In the book he explains how a lot of his trade set ups use the uptick/downtick indicator.
It is quite a reasonble price for a quality book about £14.

He also talks a lot about staying calm for trading.:whistling

Sorry can not help you on the FTSE.

Jason

EDIT: Did not even notice the title meant F**K all, but it worked

2.30-9pm just aren't the best hours for someone whos mates wake at 2pm, i only trade S&P500 and Dow for 2 hours, whereas FTSE100 for...8, so just looking for another tool for teh arsenal.
