According to Wikipedia Steve Fossett "earned millions renting floor trading privileges (exchange memberships) to hopeful new floor traders".

Nice for him. But did the traders make millions? Does the fact that the traders are described as hopeful and new rather than experienced and old tell us that they didn't?
