starting your own fx brokerage

hi, is there anyone with knowledge of setting up a fx brokerage that is willing to share some tips/information on how to setup a forex broker?

i'd like to say that I can trade pretty successfully now, so I'm looking into new ways to game this market :p

I am using currenex right now but i want to take this to the next level... :cool:

i also need mt4 to run an EA that i have also, so having safety on my funds through having my own brokerage would be good too

then most likely best choice is offshore, but not sure if US citizen would be trouble with that or not

The easiest way to do it is with a white label company. There are some that help you with integration/ offshore setup and also give you the products you need like MT4, web/mobile/desktop traders etc. and liquidity and backing. Leverate does this and is backed by Saxo--so they're not fly-by-night guys: leverate.com. I know Xogee in Cyprus used to do it but their company is facing some problems. There's also BT and Panda both of which offer private label setups to start a forex brokerage.
 
there are a few different way to set up a broker, white label company is the easiest and cost lowest. if you want to set up one from ground, you can find a few companies who is provide this kind service from end to end. in addition, get a license is very important part as well, the FSA license will take you a year to get, some others may take shorter. detailed information can be found from these regulatory body's website

Clue less regarding opening a forex brokerage for ourselves because let me be a good trader first.
 
I personally use Currenex, that way you have the best price, but if what you need is a regulation, website etc, maybe boston technologies, they offer the whole package.

Also have a friend who opened his brokerage overseas but I guess a nice regulation would be better.:)

Did he open for US market or for other markets? If it's not a big secret.
