Standard or Mini

I have read conflicting opinions about opening a standard or mini account. I have $15k that I will be trading with - should I open a standard or mini?

I won't be trading for another several months as I'm still demoing and learning a lot. But I was just curious. Thanks!

Unless there is some extremely compelling reason otherwise, open the mini. It will give you much more flexibility in your position sizing, which means better risk control.

Actually I haven't opened a mini yet but am indeed still demo-ing on a mini account. I've be backtesting a few strategies and am finally feeling pretty confident. I may open a mini account with GFT in a few weeks here and do my first real trade. I've been pretty patient seeing as I knew I wanted to trade back in May!
