Spread Bet vs. Actual FX

Hi Everyone,

Just signed up to the forum so apologies in advance on asking what might seem an old question.

Started on intra-day fx trading recently through a spread betting platform (CMC) and doing ok. However not sure if this is the best route to market for intra-day or not.

So the question is, any opinion or advice on whether using SB (such as CMC or equivalent) or using actual FX (such as FX Pro or equivalent) is better? or are they pretty similar in terms the end result?

What would you advise to a newbie on the way forward?

Nothing wrong with spread betting while your staring out. Its much easier to get your head round. In terms of positions size and risk.
