There is a new company posing as a legit broker house base in New York called SPARTAN CAPITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT. Their website is www.spartancam.com, it came to our attention that this group has been calling the U.K. and other European countries for quite sometime. Base on the feedback by the U.S. SEC and FINCEN no such entity is registered under that name, obviously they intend to cover up their company name after a legitimate company sparta asset management.
A month long investigation led us to conclude that this particular boiler room is operating in the Philippines. We have also alerted the authorities down there particularly the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). It is a matter of time before these crooks are apprehended. Meanwhile, here in Hong Kong authorities are doing there best to inform the public about there fraudulent activities.
