Proof of earnings / accounts
Income independent of rental income
Certified Statement of affairs
Features are :
Between 1.0% and 1.5% margin above base rate ie typical yen mortgage rate 1.75%
Payments are quarterly in arrears
Money can be moved at no cost
Pre agreed conversion point
Currency advice provided by independent third party
Costs are :
1%+ arrangement fee
Surveys and legal costs are borne by the applicant chosen from pre-approved providers
Bank pays for its own legals
*Level of indebtedness can rise as well as fall
