I am thinking about selling the yen as a long term investment but mainly against the dollar. The problem with this is that as a GBO pension I am actually exposed to 3 currencies. If USDJPY goes up then GBPJPY should to some extent as long as GBPUSD stays the same so what's the best option?
I could :
1/ find a short yen, long GBP ETF
2/ is there a yen basket ETF on the LSE?
3/ Just go long dollar and short yen and forget about the currency risk.
4/ Hedge the currency exposure with the same £ amount on GBPUSD? Ties up capital
