Real cost of free prop training

Hi,

I'm interested in applying to some of the training courses at prop firms that give the possibility of an offer of a place after completion, and I'm wondering how much funds someone needs in reserve for one of these?

I know of others but I'm mainly looking at Schneider here. They train for a month and offer a place if they like your progress. So (very) roughly how long should someone expect to go before they start to take in an income that covers london's expenses? (say at least £1k p/m post tax).

I probably have enough savings to last around 6 months, but this doesn't take the desk fee into consideration, and I get the feeling it takes longer than this to even make a profit?

I know there are people here who have completed the course.... how long did it take you to make some cash?

You should be making at least a couple of grand a month after a few months.
