Hi, just wondered if someone could confirm my thinking, or correct me if i'm wrong.
On the MT4 platform, when you place a trade, it shows the horizontal line at the entry price, with a reference number.
Last night i placed 3 trades, one after the other, within a 3 minute period.
So the 1st trade had a ref no something like 750001
The 2nd trade 750051
The 3rd trade 750101 say.
Am i right in thinking , that in between me entering my trades, the broker accepted another 50 trades? And another 50 trades were placed between me entering my second and third trades? Is it that the reference numbers are allocated as trades are placed, in numerical order, by the brokers platform?
