Can anyone tell me a little bit about the basics of prop trading? I was under the impression that it was somewhat of a "too good to be true" thing and that really these firms don't let you trade firm capital, but instead expect you to come up with your own capital. Am I wrong? Do these firms really provide capital? What are some reputable programs out there?
