plus 500 deposit fraud

Deposited funds in EUR to my plus500 account. PLUS500 withdrew funds from my bank account in GBP (with a horrible exchange rate).

Furthermore i deposited 1k EUR , 1050 EUR was taken out of my account not even close to what i authorized.

50 euros more then i requested to be deposited.

anyone else have a problem like this?

I deposited funds 2months ago and I had no problems.

Have you raised it with them? I heard they are quite hard to get hold of.

Did you deposit using a credit card? If so it can easily amount to a large deposit fee. Some of the companies take a 2% fee for using the credit card, upon that comes the bank currency exchange rate, which almost never match the real exchance rate. One must really check out what it really cost before depositing, especially for larger sums of money as in your case.

A total of 5% cost for you deposit of £1000 doesn't sound like a "deposit fraud" to me, this as your bank is also involved in the transaction and like to have a piece of the cake.

Plus 500 dont charge a fee for paying via credit card, not uk anyway.

My credit card company did charge me £21 on a trasaction fee for a purchase from the USA of £760. That will be where the fee is I think.
