Hi There

I'm a beginner in trading and looking at occasional trades to start with say 2 trades a month. I've been looking at stratergy videos and most of them speak about charting.
I'm in the UK and want to buy UK Shares and also Apple etc.

I'm considering charting sites such as TradingView, but unsure which. Could someone suggest an appropriate free tool please?

Thanks

Download One of the free MT4 demo platforms. They have a whole host of chart feeds covering currencies, commodities, indices, equities.

Also you can open demo accounts with spread bet brokers, they all have charts built into their platforms these days.

Youtube has countless vids covering the "how to do" xyz.
Should be enough there to get you started.

Hi
Thanks for your prompt replies :)
I've had a look at MT4 and seems to be for advanced users and a lot of emphasis on currency pairs. I'm looking at charting Apple and UK shares, is MT4 a bit of an overkill for this?
If I was to use MT4 who is the broker and what charges are applied to buy / sell (im in UK if it makes any difference) ?

I'm currently with iWeb / Halifax and from what i see does not have charting tools that can be saved. Hence happy to move to another broker if charting tools available and fees are suitable. I mentioned TeamViewer earlier but also considering Ninja Trader ?

Any views appreciated.

FXPro does a limited selection of shares CFDs on MT4. There may be others and im not recommending FXPro, trading CFDs or MT4, I just had a google out of interest.
