Phone Calls to Canada

I'm a BT subscriber and I'm looking for the cheapest way to call Canada on a regular basis.

Anyone have (positive!) suggestions?

Check this all you do is call this number 0844 4 621 621 before the number in Canada and it is only 2p per minute to both Landline and Mobiles. No signing up or anything else which is good in my view.

How do they make any money? (Like I care, but I am interested).

Will this work for all International calls or just for US/Canada? Presumably if for all countries I'll need to bung in the country code but not the UK Intl line '00' prefix?

There are other prefixes for other countries..... I've seen Canada/USA at 1p /min I think....
