Passing Time

Wow! Just noticed I have been promoted from "rookie" to " junior"

Although I have been a member for 5 odd years have posted very little mainly because I think one learns more by reading rather than writing.
However having done a lot of reading I have finally come around to believing it is my time to contribute as well
The biggest problem I face with trading is waiting for my setup to come about.
and the hours of boredom waiting. Many a time I have broken my principle and traded hastily only to see my setup requirements being met a little later
I am sure a lot of traders have found or devised ways to combat the boredom
It would be interesting to know how members pass the time.

My newest way of passing the time is posting all over this site

yep, thats about it. it can get addictive.
especially, when there are some good knock-about threads, where you can wind people up, as long its a "Foyer" thread.

I am weaning myself off posting, or post in the morning or later in the evening, and not during trade-hours.

These days, I bring a quilt to my sofa and spend all day wrapped up, trading surfing the net, watching day time TV, listening to some guy from Goldman Sachs, etc. I am so unfit, I reckon. I watch lots of stuff on you tube, too.

Quite agree. The most you can lose by posting is your credibility - expensive psychologically but easy on the wallet.
