Other then signals what else must I study ???

Hi all i am a new trader medium too longish term , although i check all charts and moving averages ,trends, and i check where all the money is moving too when i find a company showing good signal on charts what else should i check ? i.e

P.E. ratios
Earnings per share
Dividend

are these important am i looking at the wrong info ? or am i just complicating it for my self ??

You will find trading TA charts and

will Generally conflick with each other, TA tends to be step fwd, One will say buy, other will say don't buy.
Interests rates make a diffents to. so you need to be aware of that when trading bank stocks.
