Hi
I just joined Trade2Win and from poking around a little I really love it.
I have been trying to find a way to get option pricing into an Excel spread sheet, either real time or delayed. Currently, I build a standardized option symbol string in Excel VBA, then copy a list of them into Yahoo, and them paste the results back into a spreadshet.
This is a very cumbersome process however. I have previously used IQ Lite to do this, but for Yahoo it doesn't work with options. I have the MSNStockQuote function add-in to Excel, but it only works with MSN's site which is hopelessly mired in non-standard option symbols, so it is ok for equity symbols only.
The ideal would be to have a custom excel function you could enter into a cell and call either equity or option prices from a site that would provide these, free or for a reasonable price.
Does anyone have either a product, or better yet, some code that could accomplish this?
Thanks
