Option day trades

Hello,

I'm a newbie, I'm learning, every day something new.

I kinda wanted to share to someone, somewhere, some of the moves I've been making, mostly to hear what those that know have to say about it.

I'd love to hear advise, opinions, or anything you'd like to share. If you'd like to share your moves also, I'd love to see them.

I admit I gambled, but I've been learning charts and using them prior to any trades.

So...

Tesla - On 7/30 bought $210 puts exp 8/03 for $40, sold for $60 (This was my gamble, although I had a plan to sell at $75, well it jumped from $73 to $78, I figured I'd wait see how much more I can get. Got to $88, I got greedy, once it dropped to below $70, it never went back up. Huge lesson on, stick to my plan, don't let emotions dictate)

AAPL - On 8/2 Bought $215 calls exp 8/17 for $20 sold for $60 on 8/3

IQ - On 7/31 bought $38 calls exp 8/3 for $25. Expiring today worthless (Another gamble)

So, I'm cutting back on gambles. Just cause I got lucky on one, I'm not going to treat this as a casino.

I'm using charts using Fidelity since I have a 401k there I get access to it. I trade on Robinhood.


There's been a few other trades but, Twitter made me a lot of money but again, I got lucky.

I notice you live in USA so before getting to involved with options -- go spend many hours @ tastytrade

Meh... no need to be scared of options. As long as you have time to babysit them.

AAPL 1500 8/17 $215C bought @ .30 sold @ .45.

Is this not a good day?

I'm not the newbie I make myself out to be, and I have time to babysit these.
