Opening hours

Hello all,

treat me gentle as I am a complete novice in this arena - mixing with the big boys (and girls).

only just started my demo acoount, so not a REAL trader yet, however could somebody explain the opening times for fores trading.

If I leave an open position over the weekend (in the UK) will the positions move, what times must I be aware of, how much will they move, are there differing opening hours from currency to currency????

So many questions.

Sorry if all this sounds quite basic but thats me.

Might be worth remembering that the CME Globex currency futures markets open at 11pm UK time on a Sunday (ie 5pm Chicago). As trading on Globex represents about 7% of total currency volumes its times are worth considering.
