Not receiving Email

Is anybody else not receiving the T2W update emails when somebody posts
to a thread that you have subscribed to.

I've got the opposite problem...

Dunno how to switch off getting em ???

I'm serious, btw, far too many emails one gets these days, go away for a few days and your inbox is flooded...

depends. the newer threads tend to default to "Daily", so you should be getting an update at end of each day. do you normally get them instantaneously?
at top of page, you have "Quick Links", choose "Subscribed Threads". see what they are set to.

BSD: at the top of the page, there is an option "User CP". within that on the left you have "My Control Panel". within the "Settigns and Options" you have "Edit Options".
Find the "Default Thread Subscription Mode", and select from the options the relevant one; one should be "no email updates".

Hi trendie thanks a lot mate, actually I did that but I'm still getting em ;-)

When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Default Thread Subscription Mode:no email notification

Hmm.

Have a great weekend anyway tho. (My week wasn't great either, away too much, then taking profits too quickly as I was in scalping mode lol...)

You should be able to change the settings on the email itself. Failing that try putting in a new email that does not exist and that will stop it (unless of course you want other members to be able to contact you by email).

Yeah, I've had this problem for about one month, but not because of my settings. Those emails just stopped coming. Now, less than a week ago, they started coming again, and not because of any changes I made.

Yet, on the same exact day, the counters of "views", at least in the Journals section, stopped working. There's some serious SQL issues or something like that. The vbulletin software has caught a disease.

For example, these two journals have been stuck at the same # of views for over 3 days:

I got a PM notification by email 2 days after I received the PM. (Not bothered tbh.)

My default setting has been "no emal notification" yet I got 30+ emails today.

Yes it was the e mail notifications, I got 2 or 3 today but havnt had any for a couple of days before that. I'm subscribed to quite a few threads and as far as I can see some of them were updated. This happened once before, no e mail for a few days then they all came at once. No big deal I just wanted to let you know.
