I would really appreciate if someone could please post link for spread betting trading journal? (I am not good at excel formulas and so I need help in this matter.)
I spread bet at IG Index, and I would like to have the following columns including for better recording and analysis purpose.
1) Three columns for 3 entry position of the same trade.
2) Three columns for 3 exit position of the same trade.
3) Time of Trade Entry (1/2/3 entry of the same trade)
4) Time of Trade Exit (1/2/3 exit of the same trade)
5) Duration of the average time of the trade between entry and exit time.
6) Column for 1) Bet Size 2) Order Type: Limit/Market 3) Direction: Buy/Sell
7) Column for Instrument Type: Stocks/Indices/Spot Metals/ETF/Bonds
8) Columns for Average entry price of different positions of the same trade.
9) Columns for Average exit price of different positions of the same trade.
10) Columns for Win Ratio and other risk and money management ratios
11) One column for comments i.e. Market Condition / Trading Entry/Exit Reason
12) Profit / Loss amount
13) Any extra columns that you think would be useful for spread betting trading journals...
I have done more than 30 trades in IG index in last 15 days with only £200 to show in profit but at the expense of excessive draw-down level which I would not like to repeat. So if I can get the trading journal based on above, I would able to analyse where I can do better on my spread betting trading.
I am based in London, and I am also currently looking for experienced trading mentors who could teach me volume and price action based trading.
