This is a record of me trying to generate an income so i can resign

Hi
I'm going to record in this blog my attempts to generate an income, from a mixture of forex & commodity systems and services, which would allow me to resign from my job.

It may well be a disaster but, one way or another, it may help others interested in the services being used. I've got until January 17th to make a decision - lets hope the banks still alive by then.

I'll be using;
Black Dog Forex (Intra day trading software)
LS Trader (weekly set & leave signal service)
Forex Trades Live (intra day alerts service)
FX Crossover (2/3 trades per week set & leave system)


I'll do my best to update the blog on a daily basis - hope its helpful.

Nice start for Frex Trades Live

Great way to start for Forex Trades Live - 2 x 50 pip losing trades!!! Things can only get better as people usually say before more crushing disappointments smash them right in the kipper.

To fair fair they are offering a 200 pip free trial before you have to subscribe - it might be sometime before i have to commit to that at this rate!

What is stopping you from making 180 pips. Stopping the service, signing up a new account, rinse and repeat (of course from not being moral)?

Good Day For Black Dog Forex

I'm currently following 6 currency pairs with this software using the 'hi/lo' strategy outlined on the members section of the site, with a 10 pip profit target and 15 pip stop loss @ £5 per pip, using £1500 bank;
gbp/usd
3 wnrs 1 lser +15pips

eur/usd
1 wnr 1 lser -5pips

usd/chf
1 wnr +10pips

eur/jpy
2 wnrs 3 lsers -25pips

aud/usd
2 wnrs +20pips

Total for day = +15pips = £75

Hi BoarDome,
Dont suppose there is anything to stop you doing that as long as you had plenty of different email addresses to sign up with - dont even think it matters if you hit the 200 pips, you still have to agree to subscribe so theres no commitment.

LS Trader w/c 7/09

Finally entered trades using the LS Trader weekly emails on Monday after getting the bank sorted out. There is guidance provided which specifies which 'portfolio' is appropriate for you depending on your bank size but as there is a way of reducing your minimum bet size with IG Index i'm basically going to take all the trades until my maximum level of open trades is reached = 15.

Good start to the service this week - obviously cant be specific about the markets but the trades we entered and are currently in are;

Metals;
1 trade +£12

Soft Commodities
1 trade -£24

Currencies
1 trade +£198

Bonds etc
1 trade +£45

LS Trader sends an email on a Snday evening and you place your trades for the week as soon as possible after that. They focus on long term 'trend' trades - for more info on LS Trader click here

Another Good Day For Black Dog Forex 11/09

Very strange day in the markets today - the charts for 4 of the pairs i'm trading were a total mess and the price movement was schizophrenic all day. the other 2 usd/jpy and eur/jpy were trending downwards all day and gave me a few good trades. (would have been more for me but i missed 2 trades because i was looking at the new Black Dog release).

eur/usd +10 pips

gbp/usd +0 pips

usd/chf +0 pips

usd/jpy +30 pips

eur/jpy +5 pips

aud/usd +0 pips

6 winners
1 losers = +45 pips
45 x £5 = £225

Bank £1800

Just like to wish you good fortune ( Not good luck as theres no luck in correct trading :cool:)

I think its the dream of all would be traders to get up switch on the computer raid a few pips and thats it work day over.

But its gonna take a lot of guts,sweat and tears to get there with a lot of traders crashing along the way. I myself am on this road, you can catch my journal here:

My only observation is your over trading keep it small to build up your balance this will take time and it will test your patients.

paul since most these services are known to lose money you might be better off just choosing one and going with it, i think youre more likely to get a result if youre lucky to find a good one than averaging out an overall loss making industry by being involved with a few. just a thought good luck.

THERE IS NO SYSTEM THAT WILL WIN MONEY :smart:

Yes you will some money but then you'll lose then move on to the next stratergy, save your money learn Fundemental and Technical Analysis. Put your cash towards your margin (y)

Then demo trade to learn what works for you, part of trading is losing ! But a successful trader will win more then they lose.

There is no Holy Grail of trading systems that will win you money only research, time and experience will make you a good trader.

REMEMBER - Trading is not for everyone, we are all made up in all ways and some people will never make it as a trader. If you can't make a profit in a year give up and play poker because thats gambling to lol.
