MT4 templates

hi all, hope ur grabbing pippage!

just wanted to know whether its possible to transfer templates from one mt4 to another mt4?

i currently have 3 instances of MT4 on my system, one for live trading and 2 for backtesting.

what i dont understand is whether i can transfer the indicators saved on one instance of mt4 to another one? ive searched everywhere but cant find a conclusive ans, does anyone on here know or can help?

copy the folder with the indicators in.... (experts\indicators)

paste it in the experts folder of the one where you want those indicators...

merge the 2.

you can copy the templates over too.

thanks for your quick ans, the only issue is, i cant find the templates that i custom made altho mt4 shows me when i try to load it, but when i go directly to the folder, i cant seem to find it, any ideas?

your looking at the templates folder in experts\templates.

you need to look at the templates folder in the MT4 folder...

say

c:\program files\criminalbrokermt4\templates

nope..ive def checked....check it yourself also, but its def not there...!weird

ok last it support service from me.

when you have the chart you want to save go to save template and just save it to the location you want......
