Minefield choosing a broker

Hi All

as a beginner in stocks I feel like I am walking a mine field when looking for a broker when reading the reviews. I know that only the negative shout loudest , however when you hear that firms are only there to rip you off by pulling trades etc you do get a little concerned.

Reading the threads no one has really given a honest review of a broker. They all seem to have a love / hate opinion of IG and Plus500. So to spreadbet or CFD stocks (not forex) who has an easy to read platform and are fair to trade with, I know this is asked a lot but would be great if the answers could be clear.

Maybe I'm just imagining it – but I don't recall many successful traders complaining about their broker. Perhaps they just try a few and stick with the one that works okay for them?

stick to one that doesn't have a conflict of interest in trading against you!
