Hi I am new to all of this and I know I should take some time out to study the above's coding procedures but I could really do with some help to analyse urgently a mechanical system I would like to test.

Anyone able to help please ?

Klw,

I think you would be better to get hold of a copy of Excel. It is far more flexible than Works, and is the standard (basic) software for data ananlysis. There are thousands of free Excel sheets on the net covering just about every conceivable aspect of the markets. If you feel really ambitious, consider VBA - a more effficient code for developing Excel prog's. However, first become proficient in Excel.

Grant.

download a copy of OpenOffice if cost is an issue -

their spreadsheet is supposed to be compatible with Excel -
