MetaTrader registration problems

Hi

Don't know if anybody can help, but I'm trying to register an account with MetaTrader, but keep getting the following message:

Can not allocate an account!
- check your Internet connection and reconnect the terminal
- open a TCP port (1950) on your firewall or proxy server

I've disabled XP Firewall and Norton firewall but this doesnt help unfortunately, and Tiscali are as useful as chocolate fireguard!

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I think your ISP is blocking the required port!

I spent some while on the phone with my ISP (Tiscali) and they were about as useful as a chocolate fireguard! Hadnt got a clue!
