Metatrader grid-trading auto-trade EA

Does anyone have an EA that automatically creates grid-trades?

That is, once a level is reached, and trades opened/closed, the software seeks out the status of trades on either levels from the current level, and generates the relevant trades to maintain the grid?

Ok here's where I got it from.

am trying to test a new EA, and get error "Expert [ea-name] is not a custom indicator and will be removed" ([ea-name is my replaced term for actual EA-name)

What is that all about?
Compile OK; it loads ok, but is then almost immediately rejected with above error message.
What's the fix?

sounds like your ea might not be in the proper MT4 folder. Shutdown MT4. Check that the ea is in the "experts" folder and not in the "indicators" folder. Also if the ea uses custom indicators make sure they are all in the proper folder too. Restart MT4 and try again.

You just need to get into the spirit of it Trendie.

When one EA fails, you simply go in next time with two. And so on. Until they all work. The fact you’re experiencing so many failing EAs initially is really working in your favour. It means you’re building up an incredible number of EAs to hit that chart with to make it finally come off. Eventually. Some day. Has to.

sticking the mq4 file in "experts" directory instead of into "indicators" did the trick.
