MetaQuotes forex feed for MetaStock

MetaQuotes is the original charting/trading program that MetaQuotes Software wrote, based on MetaStock is auto links and feeds 11 fx pairs into MetaStock including updating history.

MQ has been 'upgraded' to MetaTrader 3 and now MT4, but Alpari are still providing a server for MQ.

Attached is the MQ program and instructions.

Correct server address

The server address in the instructions is incorrect !!! — sorry about that.

correct address: 213.85.31.254:2000

Not sure if an msfl file is needed to use MetaQuotes but I have an msfl installed so Advanced GET is able to collect MetaStock files:

The Alpari MetaQuotes server was down but is now back up.

Alpari moved clients' real accounts from MT3 to MT4 last week and servers were re-assigned, unfortunately MQ was the last to be brought back online.

Alpari have provided this new server address for MetaQuotes:
217.74.32.214:2000 –
copy and paste in Tools/Options/Server and re-start MQ.

Alpari changed the server address for MQ to: 217.74.44.14:2000

I ts not working...cant open an demo acount...it comes the message -

- Chaek your internet connection
- Open TCP port 2000
