AFX News release

Morse PLC said Royal Bank of Scotland Group has agreed to offer all its UK retail banking customers the next generation of mobile phone banking through Morse's MONILINK venture.

The consulting, technology and support company also said Alliance & Leicester recently began to market the MONILINK service to their customers.

The addition of Royal Bank of Scotland Group will bring the number of consumers able to access the service in the UK to over 30 mln, around some 35% of LINK's card base of 85 mln, Morse said.

It added discussions are in progress with the other major participants in the UK banking sector and said further announcements can be expected.

MONILINK is a UK mobile banking platform from mobileATM, a joint venture between the UK cash machine network LINK and Morse PLC. [email protected] jr/tc

You might be onto something Sean..
Mobile banking should catch fire and...... I think Morse sold Mchex to Stream.... not sure on any revenue share if any...

Oh, Christ, no. Not only do we have to contend with inane conversations on the train: "I'll be home in about an hour, darling", now it will be (but even louder), "Are you sure there's only 40 million in my Lichtenstein account. Some mistake, surely?".

RNS Number:9161H
Stream Group PLC
28 January 2005

Stream Group plc
('Stream' or 'the Group')

Stream Buys MChex and Joins mobileATM(TM) initiative
in m-Banking

Stream Group Plc, the mobile applications and content enabler, has further
established its position at the cutting edge of the mobile sector with the
acquisition of MChex Holdings Limited and MChex Limited ('MChex') from Morse
Plc, the technology integrator, for a maximum total consideration of £1.5m, and
the announcement of an exclusive contract with mobileATMTM.

The MChex platform, designed and built by Morse, is a carrier-grade provider of
mobile data and SMS services and, through the purchase, Stream gains direct
connections to all five UK mobile telephony networks, giving it increased
control and much improved margins on its own mobile traffic. Ownership of MChex
will also allow Stream to sell SMS aggregation services to third parties.

In addition, MChex has been awarded a contract to be the exclusive provider of
wholesale consumer message delivery and billing services to mobileATMTM.
mobileATMTM is a joint venture between Morse and LINK, the organisation that
manages the UK's ATM network. mobileATMTM uses LINK's existing technology
to
replicate some of the functionality of a cash machine directly on a mobile
phone, initially allowing customers to check their bank balances and top up pre
paid mobile handsets. New banking services will be added during 2005.

Gordon Robson, Executive Chairman of Stream, commented:

'This is Stream's first acquisition and marks a significant step in moving
Stream towards its goal of becoming an integral part of the global mobile
marketplace. The mobilisation of banking services marks an incredibly important
moment for the mobile industry and Stream is now in an excellent position to
capitalise upon this. The future opportunities for the global development of
mobileATMTM are immense.'

Alastair Lukies, Business Development Director of mobileATMTM, commented:

'Stream has been leading their field in delivering consumer services over the
Mobile Channel for some time now. The combined expertise of LINK, Morse and
Stream will create a formidable force in the emerging global mobile banking
world.'

Note for Editors:

The initial cash consideration for MChex is £267,197 together with a debt
settlement of £482,803 funded from the Group's own cash resources. A maximum
deferred consideration of £750,000 is payable, in cash, subject to the launch of
additional services on or before 30th September 2005. In the period from 8
January 2003 to June 2004, MChex incurred losses (before tax) of £874,018 and
had net liabilities of £872,818 as at that date.

Sean,

I got the impression, maybe incorrect, that you were using old news to make an investment decision. However, the latest accounts are available on their website so these would give you a relatively up-to-date picture.

Maybe I'm seeking redemption as a former equities salesman pushing dodgy stock. Regardless, good luck with this - indeed, any - of your investments. I wish you well.

Grant.
