market maker to mm trades

Hi all - great web site!

I've been observing lists of trades (UK equities on ADVFN). Can, or should, anything be read into large MM to MM trades.
Also is there any significance in the times of the trades coming in out of sequence (with maybe an hours delay or more).

There may not necessarily be any significance what-so-ever. They could be the result of a hedge fund unwinding a position through MMx when MMy is his prime broker, thus MMx would need to give the trade up to MMy.

There are many of these bits of detail that make a difference to my understanding of how it all works. I am still only a short way up the learning curve as you can tell.
