Hi,
Im pretty new to spread betting as you may know from reading my other post..
I have an IG index account but have been looking at other accounts / demo accounts too..
In IG for example say you trade EUR/USD at £1 / pt and have a stop 100 pts away, IG requires you to have £100 min in your account ..
However with CMC it doesnt work that way, it uses the margin %age to work out your min required acc balance.. Why is this??? If i have a stop 100 pts away, why would i need more than £100 for example..
Are IG the only company that work like this...
Sorry if i am being dumb.. As i said i am fairly new to this...
Thanks
