Looking for a trading desk/office

I'm seriously considering renting a desk/office to trade and was wondering if there were already available places in north/central London or I could start a new place myself with others if interested?

I currently trade stocks and hold for weeks/months but looking to trade shorter term and feel a dedicated place to go to each day and knowledge share could be beneficial.

Hi John,

There are plenty of places to choose from. If you search for trading arcades on this website you'll find an alphabetical list, although some firms may have ceased operating. Bearing in mind your frequency of trading watch out for higher costs as firms tend to offer best rates for high volume traders. Alternatively look for firms that charge on consideration value.

Thanks Phil, I'm looking for a place that's less informal just a place where like minded traders can trade together and bounce ideas around hence why I may I rent my own space if any like minded people are interested.

You have just described our trading office near Barbican - there's three of us trading together and we just share the office space. We all trade full-time but we all use our own brokers and our own strategies etc. I am not actually how many traders are set up in an office like we are - or whether everyone is just in arcades.

Unfortunately we are not looking for any newcomers to our office at the moment - but that could always change in the future.

That's a shame George as I live in Islington and Barbican would have been ideal for me, sounds like a good set up, I may still set one up myself.

A colleague of mine has been with them for a couple of months now.
I checked out their office a couple of weeks back.
Seems like a good setup.
