Hi guys,
I''m trying to get a list of common stocks (i.e. no ETFs, mutual funds, ADRs, REITs etc.. that distorts the true picture of the equities market) and that list should be pretty representative of the health of the market as I'm trying to come up with my own market breadth. Yea, I know there are many out there but i'm trying to do one that is catered more specifically to my trading strategies. My thoughts are to combine from the following indices. They will overlap but i think i get the stocks that are representative of the market. Any advice guys or do you think i'm missing any indices or you think this method overlooks certain things? Appreciate you guys' advice and opinions
- Russell 3000
- Nasdaq
- DJI
- S&P500
Thanks!
