It's All Very Strange

Ok lets try this, see what you make of it.

Over the last three years or so I have become increasingly aware of a strange occurence.
The number 213.
Everywhere I go this bloody number is. Last week I needed a temporary site visitor pass...yep number 213.
When I got on site the bit of kit I was looking at was numbered M213.
I updated my mobile phone numbers and contacts...went through about a hundred of them...5 of them ended in 213.
Opened the newspaper and the headline about VAT was the extra cost per person £213.
The list goes on and on. Iv'e even started pointing this out to colleagues to verify that i'm not going mad.
I wouldn't mind if this number was anything special !

Anyone else having strange unexplainable things going on in their lives ?

Go to the doctor and ask if he has anything for confirmation bias.

1. It's a variation on Fibonnaci eg 213 this week, next week it'll be 134 then 347 etc.

2. I used to regularly get the No. 213 bus many years ago.

3. 2.13 (pm) was the regular time I'd (try to stop) fall asleep after lunch.

4. It was 2.13 am a few minutes ago.

Lol I've got this lucky number of mine which is basically a long, convoluted story and quite beside the point here, and when I'm trying to decide between two options I'll go with whatever feels better, but if then on top of that I start seeing my lucky number several times in a row right after the decision has been taken, in car license plates etc, that's usually a harbinger that my decision was right.

Go figure ?

I know that theres partially a rational explanation for that phenomenon - as in if you decide to buy a certain car you'll suddenly be seeing nothing else on the streets lol - but it has gone beyond that in a lot of cases.
