Is the RSS feed working right?

Hi

I have been trying to get a feed from the RSS today, but after the first lot of messages, it appears to have stopped.

Is there a problem, or is it me?

It could be because it is the weekend, try again when the markets open.

Though there are new posts, including this one which don't appear.

I think since I subscribed earlier on today, there have been a total of 3 notifications. Since I have more e-mails for subscribed threads than RSS notifications, I think something is up.

As I am new to RSS, it could well be me that is broken.

Just a thought...

Does the RSS feed only notify of new threads and not new posts?

If so, that would explain why I have more e-mail notifications and more in the 'New Posts' section of the forums than I have RSS notifications.

That's right - it only notifies you of new threads and NOT new posts.

Couple of extra options you can use though:

RSS2 Feed (Includes part of the first post of a new thread):
http://www.trade2win.com/boards/external.php?type=rss2

Subscribe to certain forums ONLY (If you only want to see new threads in a list of certain forums):
http://www.trade2win.com/boards/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=16,6

NB how each forum is separate by a comma, and you can either use type=rss2 or type=rss for the older version of rss (no post previews).
