The NAV in several Investment Trusts I hold seems to have gone from discount to Premiums of between 2% and 7%.
Is this something to worry about? Will they crash back down to par or is this something that tends to happen gradually over time?
I'm used to them all operating at a small discount to NAV and I don't really want to sell, but I am wondering if I should cash in now and then buy back if they crash.
My timeline is many years (10+), so its not as if I need the money straight away, its just a strange situation. Occasionally one of two will go positive, but now its 7 out of 10 that I hold and I've never seen that before.
At the moment, I'm sitting on growth of 15% this year, which is another thing making me nervous, if I cash in, then the money will just sit in the account.
