Hello,
My name is Walt and I live in Georgia (state of not country of). I am new to FOREX and any other kind of trading. I am recently retired and have been looking for something to do to occupy my newly discovered abundance of time and to also (hopefully) add to our retirement income.
My original plan was to trade the stock market but I quickly learned with the number of available stocks it was kin to looking for the ol' needle in a hay stack.
I stumbled across FOREX and was hooked. Four months ago I began an effort to learn as much about FOREX and FOREX trading as I could. One of my first and perhaps most useful discoveries was babypips .com. Their free course has given me a lot of insight into the market and how it works. I have been demo trading for almost 3 1/2 months and last week took the leap and opened a mini account with IBFX.
I made 7 trades last week all of them successful - beginners luck I'm sure. I'm still stumbling about in the dark but am gaining knowledge and experience daily.
If there is anyone in the North Georgia area that would like to share info or just chat having a traidng buddy would be welcome.
