Coming from a forex background, it seems that all of the forex brokers offer an Introducing Broker program where you can attract clients and have them handle the execution and back office support. I'm also aware that this is pretty common in the futures industry as well.
But, can you do the same thing with stock brokerages? I didn't notice that any of the U.S. stock brokerages offer this service and the customer reps have no clue about it. So can someone tell me how this is done? Basically, same concept, you attain and service clients yourselves, but obviously need someone else to handle the execution and clearing of the trades.
