hey guys im new to the forum and i'm also in college so I have a quick question for my money, banking, and finance class. i'm learning about direct and indirect financing. i understand that indirect is basically borrowing from a bank such as a financial intermediary, and direct is right to a financial market. my only question is what would investing through fidelity, or AIG be for US stocks. are these companies considered financial intermediary?
thanks a lot, this isn't for a homework assignment i just want to fully understand it.
