ICE Futures U.S. Dollar Index (USDX)

Just a question... is there anybody over here trading with the ICE Futures U.S. Dollar Index (USDX).

It seems to be an index calculated by Reuters, keeping track of the US$ against a basket of six major currencies.

It sounds interesting to me. Not very liquid, around 1 million contracts per month.

Anyone trading it?
Do you think is a good product for daytrading?
Any idea / commentary / criticism will be as usual more than welcome.

i use it as a bench mark, but dont actually trade it..to thin and contracts are quite small

Main use is as a long term instrument only. I wouldn't daytrade it. Just have a daily / weekly chart up every so often and keep an eye out for key levels.

Keep it simple and robust. All else will be ignored by the wholesale market.
