I have a BUG

Norton keeps giving me a virus alert, but it won’t do anything about it.

It says I have a Bloodhound Trojan. I have done virus scans even in safe mode but it still will not find and repair it. It is in the Temp internet files.

Any advice please.

Silly question - but can you not just delete your temporary internet files?

Start --> Control Panel --> Internet Options --> Delete Files

If it's in temp internet files, can you not just delete all your temporary files by going to Tools -> Options -> Delete Files in IE?

Yes I tried it, but still get the Norton warning.

Even tried to remove the whole file and replace it but it is a system file.

Have you been to the Norton website?
have you updated your virus guard?
you can get info on the virus at there website
