Most young people will want to leave the USA so you don't want to be left paying the pension and social security bills. Prosperity is moving East, the West has had its day.

That is exactly what I thought to myself when I saw this thread.

Not many people realize that Argentina was relatively recently one of the richest countries on the planet.

Things can change fast, and so they will in the future.

There are two ways you can move and legally work in the United States

1. You are hired by a local trading firm or a bank that sponsors your visa.

2. If you want to apply under self employed category you need to invest in a project and put $500,000 US dollars. Its called the eb5 visa or something. You would also need to create 2 jobs.

As self employed person you need to create a business in the United States and to legally immigrate there you need to invest a minimum of $500k.

Long term or true prosperity can never come under suppressed and dictatorial societies. Most of the Eastern countries are not free.

Until that changes West will remain the prime spot for innovation and economics.

No matter what the problems, free societies have the ability to come up with a solution to fix their issues with time.

Never question the privileges of human freedom offered by the west. This is the single most astounding achievement mankind could gather for itself, everything else is synthetic and can be fixed with time.

China may not have the same level of social freedom but they have economic freedom. They also hold enough dollars and bonds to destroy America tomorrow should they want.

China is embracing capitalism as both the USA and the UK abandon it, they are becoming welfare states, it's pathetic. No change in interest rates...again...what a surprise:rolleyes:

Economic freedom if such thing actually exists in China (that is another debate) means nothing if there is no social freedom to enjoy it.

You will only understand what I am talking about when you live in China or any other nation that has little or no social freedom. All the money in the world means nothing if your basic right as a human being is challenged every day.

Does this sound possible in a country as oppressive as you imply?

Contrast that to England - come over here on holiday, get a girl pregnant, claim you fled from oppression in Argentina and fear for your life, mutter about human rights and we'll give you a nice mansion overlooking Hyde Park plus £50k a year spending money*.

* - results may vary.

So long as you don't stir things up/say secessionist things/call politicians ugly you'll be fine.

Outside of a political context China has no less freedom than anywhere

Which social freedom don't the Chinese have ?

I don't ever remember reading a Chinese being anal searched when he says 'terrorist' at a Chinese airport. They seem pretty free on the freedom of speech to me.

It will be interesting to see what becomes of this place after the Complete collapse of our economy.

That's true. Innovation is very important. Not only in trading area, but also for the industry. I know a German company-Schaeffler Group has workshop with end-users to research the needs and wishes from then. They installed centralizedn innovation-management.
