I'm a complete beginner & this is my first post here so hello...
I haven't started betting yet - I'm trying too get a feel for financial spreadbetting before actually risking any money. To try & understand it better, I've been doing simulations based on historical data.
My question is: is there a source somewhere of actual historical spreads, ie prices offered by an actual spreadbetting company (doesn't matter which one) in CSV format?
I've been using the charts available from LiveCharts (FTSE100, 10 second interval) as the basis for my simulations up to now. I've been taking the 10 second high & ten second low, rounding to nearest whole number & adding/subtracting one respectively which gives a two point spread more often than not, three points occasionally.
I know that from a spreadbetting simulation point of view, this is nowhere near as good as actual historical data, hence my question.
Cheers.
