Historical FTSE100 data?

Anyone know where i can get historical price data for the FTSE100 - Currently i've got it going back to 1984' but i want back to 1930 or less

Anyone point me in the right direction? Free or not is fine

the ftse 100 is relatively new, it was started in 1984 and before it was the ftse 30, that began in 1935, and before that i believe there was no index

Switch to the DJI. Data on yahoo back to the 1920's.

Thanks for the information guys! Much appreciated, can't believe i didn't know that! Guess the FTSE 30 was before my time
