Help!!

Guys,

Suddenly I can't connect to internet on my laptop which is wireless connection from my home hub. It connects then keeps going off with the wireless connection manager saying "firewalled" .

I've tried turning off Windows and Rapport firewalls and AVG (case it includes a firewall) but doesn't make a difference.

Any ideas ? Thanks.

Try resetting your router. There should be a reset button or a small pinhole in the back of it to reset it. Also, turn the router an modem off for about 30 seconds then turn them back on. This usually resolves a lot of problems.

Are you using anything like zone alarm or just the standard firewall ? and I agree with Pete's suggestion.

thanks the two "Ps"

i did try resetting router but haven't done turn off bit - will try that
no zone alarm or anything - the only extra i can think of is that i think the BT router may have a firewall built into it or summat like that. BT always say you don't need anything extra.
